His favorite part of the business has always been the particular type of friendship that exists between himself and his clients. It's a relationship based on trust that grows over the years as his clients share stories about their families and what's going on in their lives and he tells them about his. Jon Salon is equally adept at both men's and women's hair styles and the shop is even divided into two separate areas, one being primarily a barbershop for the men and the other being the beauty salon for the ladies. Besides himself, the staff at the salon includes Meredith, a hair stylist that has been working with John for four years, and his nail tech, Mary, who has also been at Jon Salon for four years. Each of this dedicated trio continue to improve their skills by taking classes and attending seminars throughout the year to stay abreast of the latest techniques to help you look your best. The menu at the salon includes hair styling and coloring, hi-liting, manicures, and artificial nails.
