Amedeo's Florist Inc. has been in Wadsworth, Ohio since 1983. Founded in Akron, Ohio in 1948, the company presently operates from both locations, and is owned by John and Renée Amedeo. We visited with Renée recently, and listened as she outlined their shops' offerings and dedication to providing exceptional customer service;

Amedeo's Florist Inc. is a full service florist with locations in both Wadsworth and Akron, Ohio. We offer everything from fresh-cut flowers to silk arrangements, custom-made wreaths, wedding and funeral arrangements, gift and fruit baskets, candles,greeting cards, and so much more. Between our two stores we service Medina, Summit, Wayne, and parts of Stark Counties, in addition to offering wire services that enable us to deliver flowers around thecorner or around the world.

We know the importance of quality, and strive to give our customers the best service possible. When you select us as the florist for your wedding, we'll not only take care of the flowers for the church and reception, we'll also be there to pin the boutonniéres on the gentlemen, the corsages on the ladies, and show the wedding party how to hold their bouquets, all at no additional charge.

It's always fun to window shop, and everyone is welcome to stop by, browse through our wide variety of merchandise, check our daily specials, and just say hello. We have cash-and-carry specials, senior citizen specials on Wednesdays, and on Friday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00 we have a Happy Hour where you can get fresh-cut flowers for half price.

We strongly support the local community and our local school system, and we're members of the Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce, Wadsworth Women in Business, and the Akron Executives Association. We stay open late for many community events, including the Jingle Bell Jaunt, the Candlelight Walk, and at Halloween for Trick or Treat for the children. Due to the support given to us by the local community, we try to give back whenever we can.
