In the early 1900s Pete Albrecht founded an excavating company that used horses and slip scrapers to dig basements and roads. Although the equipment used by Pete's company changed throughout the years, the values and dedication to service he instilled in each employee have remained constant throughout the ensuing generations. Today the day-to-day operations of Albrecht Trucking Co. are overseen by Mark Albrecht and the company's state-of-the-art equipment include dozers featuring automated laser grading devices and other rubber-tracked equipment designed to minimize turf damage. Albrecht Trucking Co. provides a wide array of commercial and residential trucking and excavating services. Although trucking is our bread and butter, we also offer concrete and asphalt removal, demolition, driveway and parking lot repair, dump truck service, excavating, lakes and ponds, land cleaning, laser grading, and limestone, sand, and gravel delivery and spreading. Our trucks are capable of hauling everything from agricultural products, minerals, and industrials to byproducts and heavy equipment. We have flat equipment trailers as well as larger drop deck trailers capable of hauling equipment up to ten feet high and twelve feet wide. We primarily service Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario, Canada, but we have the authority, licenses, and permits to go anywhere our services are needed.
We are the grading experts, and can grade just about any surface in preparation for the construction of arena, driveways, parking lots, sports fields, and yards. We can grade existing driveways and parking lots as well as new ones, and our automated laser grading devices enable us to perform precision level or sloped grades.
Our excavation services are conveniently integrated with our trucking service. We can dry just about any wet spots on your property, including arenas, fields and pastures, parking lots, and yards. We can install entire drainage systems consisting of creek beds, culverts, and drain tile that will dry out even the wettest of areas. Should you desire a small pond or lake, we will build to suit your needs.
Our demolition division can demolish anything up to three stories in height. After demolition, we use our fleet of straight and semi-trucks to quickly remove the rubble.
